If I was still running into problems, I would move all my media back out of MXF subfolder, and create a new MXF folder 1, move over probably 1000 files at Check This Out Definitely not an external drive that you disconnect & walk away with. Among the peculiarties of this scenario is that this is happens to three of four firewire drives (gRaid's 500 gb), but not the fourth. You can see this configuration through Communities/Manage Communities/
