Your local PC repair shop can try to recover the data for you.There is a possibility that the drive power cable is bad. Try clearing the CMOS.Then reboot back into the bios and see if the bios recognizes your hard drive. as soon as i tried to run recovery disc they disappeared again. no ma solved trying to build a computer with an old hard drive but having problems solved Problem with hard drive for hp laptop. solved Installed ASUS Turbo GTX 960 in my HP Envy Phoenix h9-1355 -- now have hard drive problems!! The cd/dvd drive is not showing up either.

The computer seems to be working fine now, but I'm still worried that this will only be a brief workaround and the hard drive is about to fail. Can you see the CDROM in the BIOS boot menu ? Working... And sice the warranty is no longer valid, you can test whatever you want.No drives being detected anywhere = no boot path.

- The code you are getting is failed disk, but you've tried new disk and cables and sata ports.

If not, then you probably need a new hard drive. If the drives are still not seen....well lets hope they are. Therefore it could be hitting the same problem as disk (bad power, mad MB sata, etc.).
